About the Artist
Katie has been producing artwork since she could hold a crayon. She achieved her BA in Fine Art and MFA in Animation. She went on to work as an Illustrator, Game designer, and Team lead at Lakeshore Learning Materials, as well as Product designer and creative manager at the LA Tech Start up, Ozobot.
Katie is now proudly raising her two daughters while she continues her creative journey in a freelance and more fine-art capacity. She found her way back to watercolor painting after working primarily digitally for over 10 years, and it was a match made in creative heaven. Her painting gives her a creative outlet and new challenges to explore.
